My summer is shaping up to be very full of my 39-year-old niece, who is staying with me from Santa Fe. She finished school there and is going to Anchorage in the fall for more school. This gal is crazy to clean. In two weeks we did my basement, my spare bedroom, and the yard. I came home one day and she had bleached and brillo'ed my entire pantry cupboard, which is a floor-to-ceiling half-wall unit. Every item inside had been dusted and put back. This is a very compulsive woman, but a wonderful soul that I love dearly. Who knows what makes someone so compulsive? Great houseguest, though! The cat is shy of her, maybe afraid she will brillo and bleach him next.
